- Students attending classes at the Chair and Clinical Department of Gastrointestinal Surgery are requested to arrive 15 minutes earlier to change at the hospital’s cloakroom and get prepared for the classes.
- During classes held at hospital wards students must wear a white gown and changed footwear.
- The obligatory scrubs for classes held at the operating suite are: the surgical uniform shoe covers, disposable mask and cap and cloves. Should a student take part in the surgery the scrubs include also sterile gown, protective gloves and protective glasses. Under no circumstances may a student leave the suite in the scrubs. After the classes, the uniform, glasses, gown, gloves and caps should be left in the suite in an indicated place.
- The classes start at the fixed hour with assistants designated by the Head of the classes at the Clinical Department of Gastrointestinal Surgery.
- The required theoretical background should correspond to the syllabus of classes announced at the information board by the Department’s
- The students are obliged to observed the rules of medical ethics.
- Any missed classes and seminars comprised by the syllabus must be made up for.
- Appointments to make up for the classes are made beforehand, individually with the head of the classes.
- Students attending classes at the operating suite are requested to observe the respective code of behaviour. Students may take part in the surgical procedures.
- Classes are approved on grounds of an oral test. Should a student fail to get a credit, an individual test must be taken.

The minimum score to pass the exam is 70%.
12. Any disputes are settled down by the Head of the Classes or the Head of the Clinical Department.
13. Anny complaints or comments regarding the course of the classes are received by the Head of the Clinical Department after completion of the surgical procedures.
